The Hummingbird Blesses the Day

First one flower, then
another. No lingering.
So quick. There. Here. Gone.

Welcome to my contemplation garden. If you are currently in grief, it is my prayer that you will find some insight and comfort here.  It is my intention to shine a light of understanding on the mourning process through the exploration of art, poetry, literature, and the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience.

“Grief brings us to our knees.  It is humbling to realize that grief is so much more powerful than we are.  We realize how fragile we are, how precious life is, how our lives can change in an instant.  We will never return to the life we knew before the loss of a loved one.  We will never be the same.”
